While certainly Singaporean's aren't know for our gratitude or social graces, I think that the main problem is really the nature of game media, or media as a whole today. Most people get their news from Kotaku or 1up, and unless the local media has anything novel to add on, then there's no point re-reading the same stuff on GameAxis. It would help if Singapore had a more vibrant developer scene with unique local news for the local media to report, but that isn't the case. At the end of the day, why read Gameaxis' blizzcon report when for example Kotaku has the exact same stuff, with more resources devoted to the article, and has the kotaku "brand name" to land more significant interviews?

"High and mighty thinking I'm the top shit."

After the death of M.J. I was reminded yet again that life is too shitty and sad to worsen on on online arguments. But still I see no wrong in clearing up stuff about PC gaming, I've already mentioned those in the comments and I won't repeat again. Also for the high and mighty part as quoted from your original post:

"For those who have jobs and don’t really have time to check specs and PC parts lists, to troll around forums for advice and check out the perfect rig list, they would probably take the easy way out and just get a console, plug that bad boy in, and commence play."

Now who is the all high and mighty person stereotyping PC gamers as rich elites who do not have jobs and too much time on their hands especially in a country where u basically have to pay a hefty fraction of ur salary/money back to some greedy ppl in a monarchy. As for rest of the stuff I've already mentioned in those posts.

Ok, as for my statement about you ripping Arcana75 off, I never questioned about ur work ethics or your editiorial posts, I was just merely explaining myself and clarifying up on the PC gaming. So I thought you were quoting Arcana75 off in his post regarding Onlive back then and for that I offer my sincere apologies. I respect what you do in regards to gaming and your hardwork and I ask that you respect me as a fellow working individual as well and ppl to respect PC gaming as a whole, PC gamers and people who choose to game on PCs and not stereotype them as rich folks who can afford to upgrade their PCs or playing something that is going to be extinct or dying or "unhip" enough for the current generation, if not they're just inviting flames.

Hoho, I see somebody has found a place to vent :) Thanks for the mention btw.

With regards to the relevance of GameAxis, I think it's a challenge that all online media face. You can't possibly report on everything first hand, the only advantage you have is that you can provide content to local gamers that they can't get anywhere else. Things like the details on the DoWII pre-order is pretty useful and relevant to us (already picked up my pre-order).
